Fear Grips Konkonma Community After Brutal Murder

Residents of Konkonma, a suburb of Yeji in Ghana’s Bono East Region, are living in fear after a 39-year-old farmer, Tawiah Akwesi Nyakor, was found murdered on his farm.

 

The victim’s body was discovered hidden under grass in a bush area with his throat slit. The incident has left the community unsettled, with many afraid to tend to their farms, especially women farmers.

 

Police investigations are ongoing, and the body has been sent to the St. Matthias Hospital morgue for preservation.
