Robbers Attack Nkaseim Police Station, Seize Guns, Free Suspect, Loot Shops And Bank

A group of armed robbers stormed the Nkaseim Police Station in the Asutifi South District of the Ahafo Region, sparking widespread fear and chaos. The robbers, estimated to be around twelve, arrived at the station and demanded access to the armoury. After obtaining the weapons, they freed a suspect from custody who had been calling out for help.

 

The gang then embarked on a spree of robberies, targeting a gold shop, a cocoa purchasing station, and the Asutifi Rural Bank. They also assaulted a mobile money vendor, making off with a significant amount of money.

 

In response to the attack, the Inspector-General of Police has deployed additional officers to Nkaseim to aid in the search for the robbers. The police are working tirelessly to restore calm and ensure the robbers are brought to justice.

 

Residents have been urged to remain calm while the investigation is ongoing. The police are doing everything possible to protect the community and apprehend the culprits.
