Nigerian comedian Sabinus shares his journey into the entertainment industry. His father had envisioned a different path for him – becoming a lawyer. However, after struggling to gain admission to study law, Sabinus pursued Linguistics and Communication Studies at the University of Port Harcourt. It was during his time at the university that he discovered his passion for comedy.
Sabinus started creating skits on campus, investing time and effort without immediate financial rewards. After graduating, he kept his newfound career a secret from his father, fearing disapproval. But when his father eventually found out, the reaction was intense. Despite the initial disappointment, Sabinus remained committed to his craft and has since become a renowned comedian.
