A tragic accident on the Tamale-Kintampo highway has resulted in the deaths of two people, while six others were left injured. The incident occurred when a Kia truck carrying eight passengers veered off the road and collided with a trailer traveling in the opposite direction.
Rescue teams from the Ghana National Fire Service responded quickly to the scene, rescuing six people trapped in the wreckage.
Unfortunately, two individuals were pronounced dead at the scene. The injured and deceased have been handed over to the police, who are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
