Gospel singer, songwriter, and performer Afia Ayiwah has made a thought-provoking statement on Okay FM, hosted by Nana Romeo. During a media tour for her new release, ‘He Knows,’she emphasized the importance of monogamy, stating that marrying two or three women can lead to unnecessary stress and potentially shorten one’s life. Drawing from her personal experience, Afia Ayiwah referenced her late father’s struggles with polygamy, which caused him immense pressure.
Afia Ayiwah urged fellow women not to overreact when their husbands stray or acquire side partners, as men are often naturally inclined towards polygamy. Instead, she advised women to focus on protecting and cherishing what they love, rather than making unnecessary noise about the situation. Interestingly, she also acknowledged that some women exhibit similar tendencies, highlighting the need for understanding and strategic approach in relationships.
