Gospel musician Selina Boateng has revealed that her six-year marriage has ended in divorce. Speaking openly about her experience, Selina expressed that she no longer feels weighed down by questions about marital struggles now that she’s single.

Selina stated that she wouldn’t change her name for marriage again and sees nothing wrong with being a divorcee. As a gospel artist, she doesn’t feel stigmatized or bad about her situation. In fact, she’s received interest from admirers, saying, “My line is choked… I have suitors. I am ready. As to whether I will marry a pastor again, only time and God will tell.”

Selina advised the younger generation not to give in to pressure to marry, but rather take time to evaluate themselves and their partners before making a lifelong commitment. She cautioned that many people hide their true character before marriage, and certain attitudes can’t be changed. “Be very vigilant… God has given us free will, use it wisely,” she warned.
