Hearts of Oak’s Communications Director, Kwame Opare Addo, expressed his disappointment after their 1-0 loss to arch-rivals Asante Kotoko in the Super Clash at the Accra Sports Stadium. The lone goal came from Guinean striker Morifing Donzo in the first half, ending Hearts of Oak’s unbeaten start to the season.

Despite the setback, Opare Addo remains confident in the team’s abilities, emphasizing their strong squad and commitment to achieving their goals. He urged supporters to stay steadfast and continue backing the team, believing that together, they will overcome this hurdle and succeed in the league.

The defeat has seen Hearts of Oak drop to sixth place with 16 points, and they are set to face Swedru All Blacks in their next match. Opare Addo’s message is clear: the Sappers need to regroup and refocus on their upcoming fixtures.
