A fatal accident occurred on the Matse-Vane road in Ho Municipality, claiming one life and injuring several others. An Isuzu pickup (GS 3468-17) and a saloon car (GE 1056-16) were involved in the crash.
The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) quickly responded to the scene, rescuing trapped occupants. Unfortunately, the saloon car driver was pronounced dead. The injured were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation. The police have taken custody of the deceased’s body for autopsy.
