A woman believed to be in her late twenties has been found deceased at Tetegu Junction along the Accra–Kasoa Highway in the Weija-Gbawe Municipality, prompting concern among residents of the area.
The woman was discovered on Wednesday morning. Reports indicate that she was unclothed and that parts of her body were missing, while marks observed on her body suggested she may have been subjected to harm before her death.
Residents who spoke to Adom News described the situation as disturbing and unusual, with many expressing the view that the woman may not have died at the location where she was found. Some suspect the body may have been left there to give the impression of a traffic-related incident.
The discovery has generated anxiety within the community, and several people in the municipality have raised concerns about relatives who are currently missing, as police continue their work.
The SCC Police have since transported the body to the morgue for further examination, while investigations into the matter remain ongoing.
