Black Stars captain Jordan Ayew has emphasized that the team will remain focused as they prepare for their final Group I match against Comoros. Ghana will host Comoros on Sunday, October 12, at the Accra Sports Stadium, aiming to end their 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign on a high note.

The team secured a significant win with a 5-0 victory over the Central African Republic, thanks to goals from Mohammed Salisu, Thomas Partey, Alexander Djiku, Jordan Ayew, and Kamaldeen Sulemana. Despite this dominant performance, Ayew stressed that the team isn’t getting carried away.

“Nothing changes for us. It’s still an important game, there’s something at stake, and that’s to win and finish the job,” Ayew said. “We don’t want to get carried away because we know there’s one more game. We want to finish hard, finish strong, and make sure we enjoy ourselves on the pitch while making the fans proud. I hope they come to celebrate with us.”

The match is scheduled for October 12, with kickoff set for 19:00 GMT.
